Testimonials for Destino Natureza, S.A.
I was extremely satisfied with Destino Natureza and would highly recommend their service to anyone visiting Panama. From the first communication via email through to our departure from the airport it was a great company to work with.
I am happy to share more about my experiences with anyone interested, feel free to contact me at dfyfe@ycp.ed To whom it may concern, My name is David Fyfe and i am an assistant professor of geography at York College of Pennsylvania, I teach several courses at York College that have a study abroad component and for my most recent class I took a group of students to Panama for a service-learning project. In addition to the service project in Eastern Panama I also wanted the students to get a chance to see the canal zone and Panama City.
I was referred to Destino Natureza by the NGO that we were working with and contacted Carlos to plan a five days extension tour of Panama City and the canal zone. Carlos was wonderful to work with and returned my emails in a very timely manner. He made several suggestions and worked with me to create a fantastic itinerary at a very reasonable price for students. Carlos meet us for our extension trip and was very accommodating and willing to be flexible with our itinerary. It was a great experience and all of the students had a great time (and they also learned quite a bit).

Dear Carlos
Personally speaking you helped arrange a wonderful visit to Panama for our group. You were helpful, informative, and, completely flexible and willing to adjust and accommodate the range of requests that were made during the stay.
It was particularly appreciated how you helped ensure that we had the trip of a lifetime. One incident stands out in particular. We were on the way back to the city when the heavens opened and significant rain caused traffic in an interchange to come to a complete standstill. After an hour being held up behind several cars you took the initiative to get out and direct the frozen vehicles in the crossing out of the way to allow a flow of traffic through the intersection. Without that we along with many other drivers would have been waiting there for more than the hour we had been waiting. That reflected your willingness to flexibly deal with any situation and circumstance that arose and was typical of the thoughtfulness you had for our group and others in general.
Appreciate all that you have done. With thanks and best wishes on your upcoming planned visits to Barcelona.
Yours sincerely,

Carlos,
Thanks, again for arranging such an interesting and varied programme for our 11-day trip to Panama in late January/early February. As I mentioned, while I had visited Panama City many times on business, I had not ventured out of the city nor very far out of the financial district. The day trips from the City to he indigenous districts, the Canal and Gatun Lake, and El Valle de Anton gave us a good overview of Central Panama. Our trip to the west, Boquete and Bocas del Toro on the Caribbean, introduced us to some beautiful scenery and distinctive communities.
We were pleased that you could arrange the programme on admittedly short notice during high season. The accommodation you arranged and the restaurants you recommended were all-good and obviously reflected your personal experience with the establishments.
We came back from the trip with a good appreciation of all that Panama has to offer and appetite for additional destinations on possible future trips to the country. Regards and thanks,

We have traveled to many places as a family but, without question, we have never felt so welcome and so well taken care of as we were on our trip to Panama with Destino Natureza. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, we were treated to the very best of what Panama has to offer in food, history and eco-tourism. The adventure experiences in particular were phenomenal--we hiked, canoed and ziplined our way through some of the most magnificent rainforests we've ever seen. And the accommodations--whether we were staying on our own private island or at a luxury resort--were comfortable and top-notch. We were also lucky enough to have the director of Destino Natureza, Carlos Hernandez, as our personal guide on a few of our adventures; his knowledge of the country, easygoing manner and professionalism really made the trip extra-special. Our kids, who are 9 and 5, LOVED him and his staff--which speaks volumes. We can't wait to travel with his organization again!

Carlos organized one of the best trips I have ever been on while in Panama, we knew nothing of Panama and by the time we left we had great knowledge of the city and country.
Carlos picked us up at the airport and was the most hospitable host one could hope for, super friendly and had us all organized within minutes, We spent 4 days in Panama and every day and evening was full of activities, dinner and fun, all the time Carlos was there to help, answer questions and look after us from 8am in the morning to midnight every day... I wish we had more time to explore other parts of the country such as the Caribbean side and see the islands and coffee plantations... I for one will return and the first person I will call to organize the trip will be our Good Friend Carlos...
I highly recommend Carlos (Destino Natureza S.A.) for any tour trips to Panama... you will not regret the experience and the expertise of Carlos... A big thank you to our friend Carlos... see you again soon... Rgds

Dear Carlos:
I wanted to thank you for a terrific tour of Panama.
Our family really enjoyed learning about the history of Panama as we toured Casco Antiguo, the Panama Canal museum, the Amadore Causeway, and the canal zone. Dinner at the Miraflores Restaurant overlooking the locks was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, but especially by our sons (17 and 19).
The visit with the Embera Indians was a lifetime experience. Travelling by dug out canoe deep into the jungle was spectacular. The hike and swim at the waterfall were picture perfect. Lunch with the tribe, and learning about their simple yet rich lives, gave us a chance to reflect.
Finally, the folkloric dinner and show was a great opportunity to enjoy the traditional food and customs of the Panamanians.
Thank-you for showing us your country. Best Regards,
